Greek lottery operator OPAP attribute a good part of their 19% profits rise to the popularity of the Keno game. Keno revenues in 2007 rose 31 per cent, to €2.4 billion.
The company recently announced profits of €608.9 million, for 2007.
CEO Christos Hadjiemmanuil predicted the continued growth of the successful Keno game, albeit not at the same levels as in 2007.
